Changes to CopyQM Version 2.29

A bizarre problem involving copying with two or more drives was
corrected.
Changes to CopyQM Version 2.28
1. A better CPU speed metric has been incorporated into the diskette I/O
routines. Earlier versions could produce different copy speeds on
different systems, depending on processor type and clock speed. The
metric for AT, 386 and 486 systems uses the refresh clock; the XT metric
uses a simple CPU loop.
2. A logic error could produce spurious read errors when dealing with very
full 720K diskettes in earlier versions. This has been repaired.
3. The CQCONFIG program would occasionally not save a configured COPYQM.COM
in Version 2.27.
Changes to CopyQM Version 2.27
October, 1991
1. The NOFORMAT option has been removed. Its function has been superseded
by the SMART option. If you are using new, formatted diskettes and do
not want to format the unused area after the last data block, use the
QUICK option in addition to the SMART option.
2. BLIND copying has been expanded to handle sector sizes and counts other
than the DOS standards. COPYQM attempts to determine the size and number
of sectors from the first track. Note that any physical interleaving of
sectors (usually found on pre-1980 systems) is ignored.
3. When in BLIND mode, you can explicitly specify the number of tracks with
the TRACKS= keyword and the number of sides to be copied with the SIDES=
keyword.
4. CPU metrics have been improved.
5. COPYQM can also be run in OS/2's DOS mode.
